Participation to StatGIS 2009 will be subject to a selection on the basis of the submitted material. After a first selection from submitted extended abstracts of 300-450 words, authors will be invited to submit a full paper of maximum 6 pages. Please use for the papers the templates in Word and Latex that are available here.
Guidelines for poster presentations: The poster size should not exceed 1,20 cm in length and 1,20 cm in height
Both papers and posters submissions will be subject to review by at least two reviewers in a standard referee system. Authors will be invited to license their paper on the basis of a creative commons license.
The selected interdisciplinary high quality presentations will be made available in digital proceedings with a view to having a well structured collection of papers covering end-to-end methodologies and technologies for the surveillance of our environment, and this in situations of routine and emergencies.
Selected contributions will be published in a special issue of Computers & Geosciences.
At least one author of every accepted paper needs to register for the conference in order for the publication to be included in the conference proceedings and on the web site.
The language of the conference and of the submitted material will be English.
