
The Milos Conferences is a function of the "Milos Conference Center - George Eliopoulos", a non-profit organization, located on the island of Milos, Greece.
The objective of the "Milos Conferences" is to create the conditions for interaction between academia and industry, and between different disciplines and to disseminate scientific and technological developments especially to young scientists.
The "Milos Conferences" consist of different conference series, each devoted to a general subject. The conferences are held normally every two or three years and they are open to all scientists, whether from academia or industry.
The current general subjects are the following:
1. Restoring the Natural Balance
2. Islands: Key Issues
3. Magmatism in Convergent Plate Margins
The governing body of the Milos Conferences is the Milos Conferences Council, President of the Council is Mrs. Kitty Kyriacopoulos, the founder of the "Milos Conference Center -George Eliopoulos" - and the members are from the academia and the business world.
The planning and the practical organization of all conferences are carried out by the "Heliotopos Professional Congress Organizers".
The venue is always the "Milos Conference Center - George Eliopoulos" on the island of Milos.
